Forklift Operator/Material Handler- 1st Shift-Steel Manufacturing

New Process Metals Solution currently has an opening on the 1st shift for a forklift operator / material handler.

First shift schedule is 6 am - 2pm, Monday-Friday and you must be able to work overtime (including Saturdays) as needed.

Successful candidates will have ideally worked in the steel industry (but not required) and have a solid level of experience in forklift operations.

We're looking for detail-oriented candidates that are eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. What it takes to be part of the best:

• Forklift experience is required.
• Previous experience in the steel/metal processing industry preferred.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious
• Basic math skills
• Detail oriented
• Team oriented with effective communication skills
• Thrive on fast paced, physical work and satisfaction of a job well done at the end of the day.
• Safety-Oriented and understands that operating a forklift or heavy machinery requires a good eye for detail, capability to watch out for others and yourself while operating the forklift.

Starting pay is based on skill set and experience-$17-$18 per hour.
