POSTION: BIM (REVIT) Manager / Project Designer
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as an Architectural BIM Manager (REVIT) or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of Revit software, BIM principles, and advanced Revit modeling, family creation, and management.
- Proficiency in creating and managing Revit families, templates, and workflows.
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, including working with consultants.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of architectural design and construction documentation.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Revit Architecture Professional Certification and Architectural Registration are a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES - BIM (REVIT) Manager (50 - 75% of time):
- Develop and maintain REVIT standards, templates, families, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage a Revit content library, keeping it accurate and up to date.
- Provide training and technical support on REVIT software, BIM workflows, and company standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot issues, conduct model audits, and ensure coordination.
- Research and implement new Revit plugins, technologies, and best practices.
- Work with project managers, architects, and engineers to improve BIM efficiency and communication.
- Stay current with industry trends and mentor junior staff to promote BIM excellence.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy in construction documents and models.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Project Designer (25 - 50% of time):
- Responsibilities may expand based on experience and skill set.
- Lead small-scale projects and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and external consultants, with senior staff support as needed.
- Manage day-to-day construction phase services and act as the primary point of contact with oversight.
- Supervise and review the work of architectural team members and consultants, ensuring quality and workflow alignment.
- Assist senior staff on larger projects.
