What are the responsibilities and job description for the MDS Coordinator position at New Richland Care Center?
The MDS Coordinator position provides each resident with professional nursing care assessments and evaluations, is responsible for the MDS process for the facility, responsible for Resident and Family education, assists the Director of Nursing in ensuring resident care policies are carried out, assists in planning, organization, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal , state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as may be directed by the Administrator, Medical Director and/or Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality of care is maintained at all times.
