JOB SUMMARY:

New Riff is looking for a candidate that is able to learn new processes and procedures quickly, follow written standards of operation, work with minimal supervision, and demonstrates enthusiasm for their work with an engaging positive attitude. An eye for detail as well as communication skills are necessary to successfully support our Single Barrel Selection program and maintain the high visual standards of our products.

The Part-Time Etch Assistant enables a consistent and high level of throughput through the custom graphics process. This position works closely with the Custom Graphics Coordinator to ensure that all etching units are operating safely, consistently, and efficiently. This position executes its responsibilities to ensure that all customized materials are available when needed and completed in a timely manner.

This is a first shift position and will average between 20-32 hours per week depending on workload. Shifts will generally be scheduled between 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday. This is a part-time hourly position, starting at $15/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Etch bottles for applicable Single Barrel Selections and Gift Shop specialties
• Print custom side labels for all Single Barrel Selections
• Assist in etch machine maintenance and repairs when necessary.
• Maintain organized records for upcoming and completed etch jobs.
• Assists with warehouse, maintenance, and bottling line needs when necessary (including forklift).

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

Required Education

• High school degree or equivalent education

Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (Include professional or technical certifications if applicable)

• Considers safety in all work activities
• Attention to detail; maintain accurate records in a timely fashion
• Proven ability to work independently, yet thrives in a team environment, including the ability to productively motivate without direct line responsibility
• Enthusiastic; encourages & solicits input from others.
• Sense of urgency – identify discrepancies, and “fix” situation
• Detail oriented, with the ability to stay focused under pressure.
• Design experience with Photoshop/CorelDraw

WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The position is often on the production floor, and often requires heavy lifting, repetitive motion, and maneuvering bottles and cases.
