Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage key accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, RINS (Renewable Identification Numbers) filing, expense management, and credit card reconciliation. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely collections of receivables.
- Invoicing: Generate and distribute customer invoices while ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- RINS Filing: Prepare and file RINS for government tax credits, maintaining accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Credit Card Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of company credit card statements, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as needed, providing insights into financial performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial operations and ensure smooth communication regarding financial matters.
- Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices in accounting and finance, ensuring compliance at all levels.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the renewable energy or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
