Job Description
New River Electrical Corporation is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting contract documents to develop detailed estimates for electrical projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to identify scope
- Participate in customer pre-bid meetings and site visits to understand project requirements
- Manage flow of bid information between customers, contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and operations employees
Key Requirements:
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work on multiple estimates simultaneously
- Knowledgeable of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to perform NEC calculations
