Job Description
The Community Support Professional II for Special Deliveries, provides mental health skill building supports to individuals with behavioral health and/or mental illness diagnoses, substance use disorders and/or developmental disabilities, and their families. Services include supportive counseling, individual and family support, crisis intervention, assessment, Individualized Service Plan (ISP) development, psycho-education, and referrals to clients and their families. Utilizes evidence-based practices in service provision and follows a home-visiting model of care. Develops and maintains working relationships with: individuals served, families, additional service providers, and other community agencies as needed to ensure quality services. Works as part of the team to ensure individuals are developing skills needed to help them build a recovery plan and live optimally in the community and to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers to help individuals and their families.
Starting Salary: $39,000-Depending on Experience

Education/Experience Required:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, special education or other related field required.
- Current registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-T required with a completion of QMHP-A required within one-year of employment.
