If this is you, you will be responsible for the coordination and direction of transportation services to clients, customers, and staff of the New River Valley Community Services’ Transportation Program. Performs detailed dispatching duties to include scheduling drivers, establishing route services, performing billing duties and a variety of other duties within a dynamic and high energy operation. Responsible for the general operations of the Transportation Office when otherwise unstaffed by a transit operations supervisor. Provides support to the driving staff and assists supervisors in training and operational compliance. Responds to client and staff inquiries and helps to ensure that proper information is disseminated. This position is focused on excellent customer service and operation efficiencies.
This is a Full-Time Evening position (2:00 pm - 10:00pm)
Starting Salary: $39,000-Depending on Experience

- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, and considerable experience in transit dispatching and/or vehicle operations.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge in standard office products with very effective organization and document design skills
