PEER RECOVERY TRAINEE - FLOYD PEER CENTER

Job Description

The Floyd Peer Center is seeking a full-time Peer Recovery Trainee who would provide non-clinical, person-centered wellness focused support to engage consumers and visitors ithin the Floyd Peer Center. The Peer Recovery Trainee position would share their first-hand lived experiences with recovery to inspire hope, increase engagement in treatment and in their communities and support consumers in articulating personal goals for wellness, recovery resiliency and self-advocacy.

• Must have a mental health or substance use disorder that has impacted your life for two years or more and must identify a year in recovery.
  
  

Hourly Rate: $12.71-Depending on Experience

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
  
  

Additional compensation will be considered for new employees who speak multiple languages.
