What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant position at New River Valley Pediatrics?
Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant needed for fast paced pediatric practice in the New River Valley. Requires current licensure as CNA in State of Virginia or Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant certification. Must be customer service oriented,able to multi-task, and be a team player. Previous office experience a plus but not required. Position requires patient care responsibilities and documentation in an electronic medical record and assistance with office procedures. Full time position with benefits including health/vision insurance, paid short term disability and life insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Position does involve some evening and weekend responsibilities on a rotating schedule with other members of the nursing team. Competitive salary and shift differential for weekends. Standard hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
