Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
- Foster a warm, inclusive classroom where all children feel safe and supported
- Promote social-emotional growth, independence, and a love of learning
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate effectively with families and coworkers
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, snack, lunch, and transition times
- Follow all program policies and licensing guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow daily routines
- Must be dependable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children
