As a therapist at New Roads, you will carry a case load of clients for whom you are the primary therapist. You’ll be doing individual, group, and family therapy sessions in out Cottonwood Heights and Provo locations; insurance reviews for concurrent care; assessments to determine diagnosis and level of care recommendations.
Therapists also enjoy the benefits of being a part of a DBT consultation team! This is therapy for the therapists and provides support as we work in this field. You’ll also enjoy the highest level of trainings provided throughout the year, so you’ll never have to pay for CEUs to maintain licensure requirements. New Roads invests heavily and generously in its therapists by providing lots of trainings, certifications, and supervision with different therapy approaches including Comprehensive DBT, EMDR, ACT, EX/RP, and PE. Several trainings are done by in-house certified trainers.
Our client population consists of adults, primarily young adults, with primary mental health issues from all over the world. We provide a continuation of care with the clients which allows you to stay with your clients through various levels of care from residential down to general outpatient.
Qualifications:
Education:
Masters Degree
Licensed in the state of UT: CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, MFT
CPR, First Aid, AEGIS Training (New Roads will provide and also do the trainings to keep you current.)
