About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage with the community and promote our services. You will work closely with our team to identify community needs and develop programs to address them. Your efforts will directly impact the health and well-being of our community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, or related field
- 2 years of experience in community outreach and engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Public Health, Communications, or related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with social media and digital marketing
- Experience with event planning and coordination
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with the community and promote our services
- Collaborate with team members to identify community needs and develop programs to address them
- Organize and participate in community events to increase awareness of our services
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
- Track and report on outreach efforts and their impact on the community
Skills:
As a Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist, you will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders. Your strong organizational and project management skills will be essential in developing and implementing outreach strategies and programs.
