Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to Facilities Management and assists with the day-to-day operations as well as long term planning.
- Responsibilities include overseeing the janitorial and mechanical personnel ensuring that assignments have been completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate moves, special events, vendor activities and other aspects of the Facilities operation(s).
- Ensure completion of Facilities tickets in a timely manner. Coordinate with the Facilities team on tickets that are assigned to be done.
- Coordinate special events: event planning, coordination and execution.
- Inspects and monitors all agency sites, makes recommendations to the department head concerning safety, organizational and cost-saving practices.
- Participates and reports on emergency drills to ensure safety of staff and students throughout the Agency.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities, Facilities Manager or his/her designee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and write with proven problem-solving experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, plan, direct, coordinate and interact with all agency personnel. Flexibility dealing with changing deadlines and assignments.
- Valid California Driver’s License with good driving record
- Bilingual preferred.
