Position Details: 

  • Full-Time
  • Locations: Culver City, Inglewood

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide individual and/or family treatment to children who are at high risk of abuse and/or neglect and children with severe emotional difficulties.
  • Provide individual/family in home counseling services to and/or office-based treatment to children and adolescents with a range of psychological, emotional and behavioral problems.
  • Provide case-management services which may include interfacing with community psychiatric hospitals, Department of Family and Child Services (DCFS), Department of Mental Health (DMH) school of officials, law enforcement and others as appropriate.
  • Maintain client charts in a responsible manner and meet all paperwork deadlines and requirements. Maintain productivity rate at required Agency Standards.
  • Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethical standards.  

Qualifications 

  • Registered with the BBS as an AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LCSW, and LPCC in the State of California.
  • Minimum one year experience working with multiple-issue families (e.g. unemployment, poverty, substance abuse, homelessness, domestic violence or abuse). 
  • Strong interest in providing in- home, strength-based, culturally relevant counseling services. 
  • Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing field-based services to multi-cultural population. 
  • Fluency in Spanish high preferred.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Must be insurable with agency’s insurance company for driving

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. The Help Group reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
