Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable and skilled Plumber to join our property management team. The Plumber will be responsible for maintaining the plumbing systems across 500 residential apartments in the Capital Region. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all plumbing systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drain Maintenance: Clean out main drain traps and address any blockages in toilets, sinks, and tubs/showers.
- Repairs: Repair damaged sewer and water lines as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix plumbing issues, including hot water tanks and boilers.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent plumbing issues to minimize tenant inconvenience.
- Tool Use: Use standard plumbing tools to complete tasks effectively and safely.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of residential plumbing systems.
- Licenses: Clean and valid driver’s license.
- Vehicle: Access to a personal vehicle for transportation.
- Tools: Must have a standard set of plumbing tools.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform repairs efficiently.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
