JOB SUMMARY: The custodian will be responsible for the daily cleaning and safety conditions of all assigned facilities performing assigned tasks. This person is responsible for cleaning, performing grounds keeping activities including snow removal, and performing routine maintenance activities painting, minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical repairs. The position is temporary.

The position is temporary.
Job Duties Include But Not Limited To
- Supports and enhances a culture that respects and honors diversity, invests in professional development and encourages self-care.
- Arranges special set up for events as programs require.
- Sweeps and mops floors.
- Empties trash cans.
- Thoroughly cleans and disinfects all surfaces to include laboratory equipment.
- Uses cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
- Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Restocks toiletries.
- Applies wax to floors and buff.
- Cleans and services restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
- Moves and puts back furniture for scrubbing and waxing.
- Identifies and reports possible repairs immediately upon discovery.
- Shovels snow from sidewalks and sprinkle salt on surfaces.
- Will be required to work during inclement weather.
- Will be required to work extra hours and overtime as needed to prepare the building.
- Will be required to attend staff meetings and complete any training as required.
- Performs other duties as reasonably requested.
Salary : $20 - $22
