Environmental Health and Safety Manager
Position Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, including emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and safety drills.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Conduct safety compliance audits and follow up to ensure violations are corrected.
- Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures.
- Submit permit applications and renewals.
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure they adhere to EHS standards.
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 5 years of EHS experience.
- 2 years managing EHS professionals.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
