Background:
As a Chemical Compounder, you will be responsible for working with chemicals, chemical substances, and machinery that processes and produces chemicals during a manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Required to competently operate blending machinery independently as well as within a team environment Match all labels with batch records
- Must be able to document blending process information as per SOP
- Must be able to load and unload blending machines
- Monitor blending operation periodically and report any abnormal conditions to the supervisor
- Understand, follow, and ensure compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and adherence to defined procedures, safety rules and SOPs.
- Always produce High Quality finished goods
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with production, maintenance, quality control and scheduling personnel.
- Verify that incoming materials are up to the BOM
Requirements:
- Fully shaved facial hair is the standard for our position in blending
- High school degree or GED, desired.
- Must be able to safely operate the machine for the intended purpose.
- Must be able to keep up with the line speed of machinery.
- Must be able to lift at times, able to meet yields, volume etc.
- Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or working 20 hours of overtime per week.
- Prior working knowledge in a CPG, manufacturing, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry, preferred.
- Understand, follow, and ensure compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adherence to defined procedures.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud production environment.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
- Attention to details.
- Steel toed boots required
Physical Demands:
- Constant manual dexterity use.
- Required to stand for long period of time.
Shift: 6am-2pm
Job Type: Full-time
