New Start Supportive Living Services is assisting multiple individuals looking for In-Home-Supportive-Services staff in Placer County. This position is not employed by New Start SLS works directly for the client and IHSS Placer County.
IHSS Placer County
All support staff is hired with a specific set schedule. All openings have opportunity to pick up additional hours on call. Openings may have flexibility to be combined for additional hours; IHSS, sls and or other locations. More information can be found on our website and be discussed during our interview process.
IHSS staff must be certified through IHSS Placer County or be willing to become certified as part of the hiring process. Pay for IHSS shifts determined by IHSS Placer County ($17.60 per hour as of September, 2024).
The ideal candidate will provide IHSS support staff in both Roseville and Auburn for a total of 3 shifts and about 17 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate caregiving services to clients in their homes.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for clients with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Document care provided accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
