Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Ink Technician to join our team. The Ink Technician will be responsible for mixing, preparing, and maintaining ink formulations for the production of high-quality printed packaging materials. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate color matching, quality, and consistency throughout the printing process.
Key Responsibilities
Ink Mixing & Preparation :
Mix inks to match color specifications provided by the production team or customers.
- Adjust formulations as needed to achieve consistent color quality and meet production standards.
- Ensure proper ink viscosity and pH levels are maintained throughout the printing process.
Inventory & Quality Control :
Manage and maintain ink inventory, ensuring adequate supply for production.
Press Support & Maintenance :
Collaborate with press operators to ensure proper ink application and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Safety & Compliance :
Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper handling of inks and chemicals.
Qualifications
Prior experience in an ink room or printing environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, especially with color matching and quality control.
