Location: Stamford CT, 06905 (Remote in Stamford CT with Travel)

Your Role as a Director of Community Relations

• Strategic Growth – Develop and execute strategic plans to increase student enrollment across all locations.
• Relationship Building – Build, encourage, and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Education – Educate key stakeholders about New Story’s capabilities and services.
• Customer Satisfaction – Suggest and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• School Support – Assist schools in developing and executing plans to grow their student census.
• Community Engagement – Represent New Story at community, networking, and industry events, as well as on committees.
• Referral Insights – Collect and convey referral source feedback to enhance marketing effectiveness and operations.
• Outreach Initiatives – Develop and expand community outreach opportunities.

Required Qualifications: 

• Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Experience- 4 years in a role requiring regular communication with school district representatives, referral sources, and educational stakeholders (e.g., Principal, Special Education Coordinator, School Administrator, District Liaison, Educational Consultant, or Admissions Manager).
• Communication & Relationship-Building: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
• Technical Skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Problem-Solving & Organization- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and networking abilities to navigate complex situations effectively.

• Teamwork & Customer- Service: Strong collaborative skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Independence & Results-Driven- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a results-oriented approach.
