Your Role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop individualized treatment plans for students.

Collaboration & Implementation: Work with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver tailored speech-language therapy activities.

Progress Monitoring & Adjustment: Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans while ensuring clear communication among all team members.

IEP Development & Evaluation: Create IEP goals, administer tests, and provide data-driven support for student progress.

Reporting & Behavior Management: Offer insightful reports and recommendations while utilizing behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree from an accredited academic program.
- Active ASHA certification for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) and/or Audiologists (CCC-A).
Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a school setting, specifically working with children with special needs.
- Understanding of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation.
