POSITION SUMMARY
Candidate for this position will be responsible for creating custom millwork/cabinetry shop drawings in AutoCAD software.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Create custom millwork and cabinetry shop drawings based on the design information provided by the client (architectural drawings, hand sketches, site visits, inspiration images).
· Complete drawings and revisions according to project's schedule.
· Record and track status of the projects, maintain organized filing system of CAD drawings and project data.
· Work directly with production team to resolve any issues in timely manner , build projects as efficiently as possible to avoid any production delays.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· 3 years experience drafting/drawing with AutoCAD.
· 2 years experience working in custom architectural millwork/cabinetry industry - residential: knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, finishes, architectural millwork hardware.
· Reading construction plans and written specifications.
· Ability to take precise site measurements.
· MS Office knowledge.
· Ability to resolve issues.
· Attention to detail.
· Great verbal and written communication skills and work ethics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $37.00 per hour
