Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Teach Health Science classes that will lead a student to a Health Science Endorsement / Certification.
- Have knowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and how to implement the TEKS in the classroom.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the District's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
General Expectations:
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of the content area
- Ability to follow the High School TEKS
- Proven ability to gather and utilize both formative and summative assessments to create individualized learning plans to ensure students' success on State and Local assessments
- Excellent communication skills
