Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with account managers, designers and other developers to implement website features and functionality.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, plugins, and themes.
- Manage version control using Git for project tracking and collaboration.
- Ensure code quality through CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to WordPress development.
Requirements
- Proficient in WordPress development with a strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with XML for data manipulation and integration.
- Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience using IDEs for coding projects.
- Familiarity with Drupal is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
