About the Role:
As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence. Your role will involve providing personal care, administering medication, and assisting with daily living activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with other healthcare professionals as needed. Your work will have a direct impact on the lives of those you serve, and you will play a critical role in helping them achieve their full potential.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Experience with medication administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
