Position Summary:
Moves, sorts and collects supplies, materials, and other items throughout the warehouse. Loads and unloads pallets, trucks and other conveyances.
Essential duties and responsibilities(3-5 core functions representing 80% of time spent):
- De-packs palletized and metal storage containers of cardboard boxes.
- Sorts and stores material by SPI and size on pallets or in wooden crates.
- Moves and sorts supplies and materials to proper locations.
- Collects supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck.
- Stacks materials, collects salvageable materials and discards refuses.
- Prepares boxes for painting.
- Paints boxes to cover all previous shipping or mailing labels.
- Must wear all protective equipment required by department.
- Must follow all company policies and procedures including departmental safety policies.
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications (Minimum education, experience, training, licensure, certification):
- Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
- Previous general labor experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass a security clearance.
