We’re seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Santa Rosa Beach. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting the timely delivery of products to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping windows, doors, and related materials.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of goods and storage areas to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Process and update records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of delicate materials.
- Participate in inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with knowledge of safe lifting practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.
