Job Summary

New View Windows and Doors is seeking a reliable and hardworking Window and Door Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely loading, transporting, and delivering windows and doors to customers and job sites while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong focus on safety, and provides exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Transportation

• Safely load, transport, and unload windows, doors, and related materials to designated locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Customer Service

• Communicate with customers and job site personnel during deliveries to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Loading & Unloading

• Properly load and secure windows, doors, and materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Unload materials at delivery sites, ensuring safe handling and placement as directed by customers or job site personnel.

Inventory Management

• Verify that items being delivered match corresponding work orders and invoices.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the Logistics Manager promptly.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or required repairs immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

Safety Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures while handling and transporting products.
• Use proper lifting techniques and equipment to avoid injuries or product damage.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in delivery or logistics roles (preferred).
• Experience handling windows, doors, or other fragile materials is a plus.

Licenses

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not required.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy or bulky items (up to [weight limit, e.g., 50-250 lbs.]).
• Operate and certified to drive various types of machinery

Working Conditions
