Our patient-centered practice offers mental health and addiction medication management, counseling, and therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services/assessment services within behavioral health setting.
- Ability to provide clinical interactions which reflect competency, demonstrate clinical judgments which are appropriate to client’s functioning and
- Deliver accurate, substantive and timely documentation which meets best practice guidelines and regulatory standards
- Integrate all relevant referral information into the assessment process, and acquire additional collateral information as needed
- Collaborate with the program manager to determine and designate site and supervision protocols, and assess and determine client level of care changes (decisions related to admission, transfer/discharge, and step-up)
- Provide minimum of 25 hours of billable services based on a 40 hour work week
Skills:
- Complete bio/psycho/social assessments and make appropriate recommendations for treatment.
- Provide individual and family therapy.
- Facilitate Group Therapy.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients' families, referents and other professionals.
- Maintain professional standards regarding practice, conduct, continuing education, appearance and relationships with clients and other professionals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in counseling, social work, or other related field.
- Two years experience in counseling, social work, or related fields.
- Basic skills related to the use of electronic records.
- Familiar with community resources.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
