Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with memory care strategies to enhance cognitive function and daily routines.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare providers and documenting care.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices to ensure accurate record-keeping.
