As the premier skilled nursing facility in Los Angeles, California, New Vista Nursing and Rehab provides compassionate and personal skilled care 24 hours a day. Our 121-bed facility specializes in providing rehabilitation services onsite to help individuals regain independence and return home.
Job Title: LVN
Summary of Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Initiate the Nurse's Skin and Wound treatment upon identification of any skin and/or pressure ulcer.
- Notify attending physician promptly when any skin condition is identified.
- Initiate all treatments immediately as prescribed by attending physician.
- Ensure that all skin conditions have corresponding treatment orders.
- Ensure that all skin problems and pressure ulcers are documented on resident's plan of care.
Requirements:
- Must not have been found guilty of abusing, neglecting or mistreating residents in a health care setting.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the nursing process
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide quality resident care
- Maintain current CPR certification
- Must possess current state LVN License
- Must maintain current fire safety certification
