New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is seeking a dedicated Lead Maintenance Tech
- Conducts repairs on company property in an efficient and workmanlike manner to include carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical
- Assists supervisors in identifying current and future maintenance needs.
- Watches out for safety and fire hazards and reports them promptly or takes direct action to eliminate them.
- Assists other maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient operation of the building, including cleanup, inventory control and tool control.
- Plays a major role in the general upkeep of the company property: road maintenance, lawn and field mowing, erosion control and snow removal.
- Conducts upkeep for the inside of the building to ensure it remains up to code.
- Must be flexible and willing to do new things having to do with minor construction.
- Performs maintenance on resident’s rooms when needed
- Supports the maintenance system by completing all paperwork, logs, checklist, and forms
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical
- Ability to interact with employees, public, clients and their families in highly professional manner.
- Good judgment and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized.
- Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Emotional stability and personal adjustment to act as a role-model for residents.
- Able to lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds.
Education Requirement:
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- 1 year experience
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
