POSITION SUMMARY
Manages the front desk, welcoming and assisting program members and visitors, both in-person and on the telephone. Also assists the Residential Managers with activities to support efficient operations, related to medical records, office equipment, communications, payroll, and other clerical support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Answer, screen and forward and incoming phone calls, while providing basic information, when needed.
- Daily monitoring of reports and follow-through as assigned.
- Assists with scheduling.
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers/faxes, and support processes for external mailings (purchase stamps, deliver items to the post office, etc. if needed).
- Order supplies for facility and maintain inventory.
- Maintains security by following procedures related to Visitor Log, monitors surveillance, and distribution/collection of keys.
- Assist with insurance verification for current and prospective program members.
- Accurately completes data entry of payroll information.
- Assist with new-user computer/phone set up and facilitate computer/network troubleshooting.
- Assists with maintenance of accurate, current medical records, and regulatory information (data entry/updates, filing, etc.)
- Provides back up for the Managers and other administrative support staff, as needed.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, facilitating office equipment maintenance/repair, etc.
- Other duties, as assigned.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attends all orientation and ongoing training required by policy, as well as at least of 10 additional hours of related training each year, as well as any trainings mandated by supervisor.
- Attends scheduled staff meeting and all other meetings and events, as assigned.
- Abides by all Corporate and Recovery Center Policies and Procedures.
- Abides by all employee health and safety policies.

SKILLS
- Proficiency with use of PC, and Microsoft Office Suite to maximize use of technology to support operations.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
ABILITIES
- Able to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
- Able to organize, prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience in similar roles
- Driver's License
WORKING CONDITIONS

- Able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time
- Able to hear ordinary conversation and phone communications
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
- Literate
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Equipment Operation
- Able to operate common office equipment, including a computer
- Must have valid driver’s license
Hazards of Position
- Minimal risk of exposure to chemicals related to office equipment that may adversely impact health.
- Slight risk of contact with blood-borne pathogens
- Slight risk of exposure to program members who physically act out.
Salary : $16 - $18
