What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Sales Coordinator - Internal Only position at New Waterloo?
What you'll do:
- Assist in responding to inquiries for private dining, group bookings, and special events.
- Communicate with potential clients via email and phone to provide menus, pricing, and event details.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the restaurant’s offerings, including menus, seating capacities, and service styles.
- Support sales efforts by following up on leads, generating contracts, and ensuring timely deposits and payments.
- Manage event bookings, contracts, and BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) to ensure all details are documented and communicated effectively.
- Update and maintain CRM systems, tracking all inquiries, leads, and bookings.
- Coordinate with the restaurant’s operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
- Prepare sales reports, track revenue, and monitor event performance.
- Support promotional efforts, including outreach to potential clients and local businesses.
- Assist with social media engagement and marketing materials related to private events and group sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on special promotions and sales campaigns.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients leading up to and during events.
- Ensure all guest requests and special needs are communicated to the restaurant team.
- Attend events as needed to oversee execution and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure open lines of communication with staff, all departments, and upper management at all times via email, online applications, meetings, etc., to ensure all needs are met
