Culinary Associate- Part Time

New West Charter is an award-winning 6-12th grade independent charter school in Los Angeles, California. Our school attracts a diverse student and employee population from all over Los Angeles, focuses on academics, and builds confidence through the arts and athletics. We are looking to hiring Culinary Associates to help out serving, prepping, and cleaning on a daily basis.  Must Haves:

• A good attitude
• Dependable
• ServSafe Food Handler certificate

Responsibilities and Duties Included But Not Limited To:

• Sweeping, Mopping, and General Cleaning or food service areas and storage rooms
• Taking deliveries, sorting, and safely storing of food and other goods
• Safely handling food
• Being a server on the hot service line
• Prepping fruit and vegtables for breakfast and lunch service

Job Related Physical Requirements

• This position requires some physicality including the ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs, the ability to push/pull carts, coolers, and meal cambros, and standing for some periods of time.
