The candidate for this position will be a part of the Winged Foot Day Camp team and will serve as the main point of contact for medical/health compliance for the entire camp.

Job Description And Responsibilities
- Supervise the health and sanitation at the Winged Foot Day Camp
- Maintain camper’s confidential medical history/records
- Oversee the initial health screening of campers and daily health surveillance of camp occupants
- Handle health emergencies and injuries, including emergency preparedness and provisions of professional health care
- Maintain camp’s daily medical log
- Report required incidents to the local health department within 24 hours
- Designated person in the medical component of the camp’s safety plan
- Must remain on site
- Attend pre-camp training in May and June 2024
- Enforce safety rules and regulations of the Club
- Must be a NYS licensed physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or emergency medical technician
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children
- Valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Pass NYS and national background check
- Must be 21 years or older
- Transportation to and from Travers Island required
- Be available for office work 5 hours a week prior to the start of camp; 40 hours per week during June-August 2024
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on a team
- Possess effective customer service skills
- Demonstrate responsible and professional conduct
- Be open to feedback and desire to grow professionally
- Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
