Description
The New York Athletic Club, founded in 1868, is a platinum and emerald-rated, private

while providing world class facilities at its two locations - the Manhattan City House and
Travers Island in Westchester County - for those of its members who wish simply to
remain fit and healthy.
Summary :
The Jr. Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with the day- to- day culinary
operations of the Club. The candidate will also provide professional leadership and have multitude
of duties ranging from banquet functions, line production, and food preparation.
Requirements :
- Prepares food to specifications before and during operations.
- Properly measures and portions all food items.
- Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and
procedures.
