Job Overview:
As an Afternoon Crew Member, you’ll be the face of our shop during the evening rush! You’ll provide excellent customer service, prepare and serve delicious coffee drinks and bagels, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure the shop runs smoothly to provide a great experience for our customers. You’ll be working as part of a close-knit team and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Take orders, prepare coffee drinks, and assemble bagels as per customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including the counter, seating area, and kitchen
- Restock supplies, ensuring the coffee station and bagel area are always well-stocked
- Handle cash register and process payments accurately
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure that orders are prepared and served quickly while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to keep the shop running efficiently
- Assist in opening and setting up the shop at the beginning of the shift
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and resolve any concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service environment is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle morning rushes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
