**Job Summary:**
The primary function of this role is to inspect, maintain, and repair buses that run on various fuels, including gasoline, diesel, electricity, and propane. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance repairs to ensure the vehicles meet safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform basic preventive maintenance work on buses to required standards
* Conduct necessary inspections and repairs to bring vehicles into compliance with regulatory requirements
* Prepare buses for Department of Transportation (DOT) inspection
* Maintain and repair electrical components, such as directional lights, safety warning lights, starting and charging systems
* Troubleshoot vehicles in need of repair, including electrical troubleshooting
* Install vehicle repair components
* Replace exterior engine components
* Perform brake pulls on buses
* Adhere to prescribed safety methods and perform work safely
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

- Ability to perform some computer diagnostics and tests
