Job Description
Shift:
Tour 2 (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Purpose:
Under the direction of the Director of Service or designee, provides all clerical and secretarial services for the department.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with operational needs of the office.
Provides basic office functions such as answering and screening phone calls, faxing, scanning, and emailing documents.
Performs payroll functions including screening/processing timesheets and overtime reports.
Keeps records of daily attendance, including sick calls and absences.
Maintains and schedules appointments for the Service Director.
Type and process confidential letters, memos, etc.
Record completed evaluations and past due evaluations.
Filing documents and maintaining personnel files.
Ensures staff are up to date with annual mandatory requirements (e.g., online trainings, annual health reviews, credentialing).
Prepare counseling packages upon the Director’s request.
Prepare and process incident and return to duty forms.
Prepare action request forms at the request of the Service Director.
Request office supplies.
Provides coverage for the main Nursing Office as designated on weekends and holidays. When covering the main Nursing office is responsible for verifying staffing on the nursing units. Recruits nurses and nurse aides for the on-call Administrator on Duty when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medical/patient systems administration; or,
2. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience.
