Job Summary
A Senior Director-Real Estate Specialized Deposits leads business activities including new business development, client management, product and solutions expertise, and ensures appropriate balance of new business generation and risk mitigation. Role requires a deep understanding of various industries, sectors, and the banking product needs of its commercial clients. Responsible for the management of a team focusing on new business development, client and portfolio management, appropriate risk mitigation. Ensures department complies with all applicable regulations. Ensures the new revenue generation by prospecting, cultivating new and existing commercial client relationships and ensuring delivery of required bank products and services. Responds to escalated, complex or challenging client needs and recommends solutions to prospects and customers. Works with key stakeholder in bank to ensure client needs are met timely. Is a subject matter expert in assigned industries and represents bank at key industry functions. Coaches team members an ensures department meets its budget and remains in compliance with regulatory / compliance matters.

Job Responsibilities :
- Relationship Management / Revenue Generation : Infuses the team’s network of clients and centers of influence with fresh prospects at any time in order to expand opportunities. Serves as an escalation point for any and all client relationships, addressing any issues and removing obstacles to ensure a smooth and beneficial transaction. Personally, manages client relationships as needed or deemed necessary. Assists team with generating revenue, deposit gathering and fee production. Works with product partners on cross-sell efforts to deepen relationships and improve profitability.
- Management of the Team : Monitors and coaches performance of team members, ensuring that relationships are created and maintained, taking appropriate action to ensure goals are achieved (including sourcing deals personally if needed). Takes corrective actions if goals are not being achieved and leverages expertise and knowledge to develop an outstanding team. Attracts, develops and coaches a successful sales team. Responsible for hiring, training, development, and handling of salary administration, performance reviews, and employee relations issues.
- Strategic Planning : Partners with executive management to create a strategic plans and outline steps to meet budget and growth objectives. for the assigned commercial group. Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success. Creates action plans to ensure the achievement of the plan including setting and tracking individualized goals for each team member in regard to production and revenue, and forecasting results for management based on existing pipelines. Monitors industry trends, market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth. Collaborates with Product Management team to develop and enhance commercial products and services to meet the evolving needs of clients.
- Risk and Compliance : Ensures the team is proactively monitoring and mitigating portfolio, product, and transaction risk of assigned portfolio. Ensure individual and team remains in compliance with applicable regulations. Communicates identified risk matters within bank and escalates as appropriate.
