Competitive hourly rates start at $25 per hour plus bonus commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing a comfortable environment for those who may feel nervous about dental procedures.
- Utilize your sales experience to effectively present treatment options, answer patient questions, and explain the benefits of recommended treatments.
- Assist patients in understanding their dental insurance plans, including PPO, DMO, DHMO, and NYS Managed Care. Help patients understand their benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and work with them to find solutions that fit their needs.
- Clearly explain treatment plans and help patients understand the value of the services offered, overcoming any objections and helping them commit to the treatment they need.
- Support patients in exploring third-party financing options and assist them with completing financing applications. Walk patients through credit check processes and help them make affordable payment arrangements.
- Ensure accurate documentation of treatment discussions, patient financial arrangements, and insurance approvals. Communicate with the clinical team and front desk to ensure smooth treatment scheduling and processing.
- Address patient concerns creatively and proactively, helping them overcome financial or treatment-related barriers to receiving the care they need.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in sales, healthcare, dentistry or customer service is required.
- Experience in a dental office or related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with dental insurance plans (PPO, DMO, DHMO, NYS Managed Care) and ADA codes is a plus.
- Ability to build rapport with patients, explain complex information in simple terms, and address objections in a professional manner.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
