Job Description:
Requirements:
• 3 years of experience working with PowerScale clusters, with a focus on daily physical maintenance and technical support
• Strong knowledge of PowerScale cluster architecture, hardware, and software, specifically OneFS
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting PowerScale clusters, including:
• SmartConnect and SyncIQ configurations
• NFS performance optimization, including troubleshooting latency issues
• Cluster setup, network configurations, and data integrity
• Experience with upgrading PowerScale cluster software, including:
• Upgrading OneFS software
• Upgrading node firmware/drive support packages
• Configuring and testing new software releases to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software upgrades, including compatibility issues and bugs
• Familiarity with high-performance computing concepts, including distributed computing and shared storage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with storage team members and other stakeholders
• Certification in PowerScale concepts, administration, implementation, and hardware is a plus
