OVERVIEW:
New York Health Care Inc. a licensed home care agency (LHCSA) in business for over 40 years is seeking an experienced registered nurses (RN) for a full-time field position. Successful candidates will perform client visits and assessments throughout NYC with a general concentration in Bronx.
Responsibilities to include:
- Perform home care nursing visits (patient assessments and aide supervisions) to our patients throughout the community
- Ensure compliance and proper documentation and maintenance of clinical records
- Perform HHA / PCA training classes as per DOH guidelines on an as needed basis in the office
- Ensure compliance of agency with respect to governing bodies such as Department of Health and JCAHO clinical standards
- Ensure HHA / PCA's are properly orientated and supervised in the field
Requirements:
- Valid New York State RN license
- BSN Preferred
- 1 or more year of home health care experience
- Bilingual in Spanish/English encouraged to apply
