We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in Smithtown, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endocrinology, with a preferred focus on diabetes education and management. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.
In this role you will :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with endocrine disorders, particularly diabetes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding diabetes management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor and adjust treatment regimens based on patient progress and laboratory results.
- Perform necessary procedures and tests as per clinical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and diabetes management through continuous professional development.
We require :
Salary up to $165,000 based on experience.
