In this role, you will:
- Provide direct supervision of work and performance of LPNs as instructed, including input for performance evaluations and corrective action plans.
- Develop staffing plans.
- Work closely with office manager/office supervisor, head nurse & lead lab medical assistants to ensure efficient office workflow and excellent patient experience.
- Assist with clinic problem-solving, patient wait times, and other areas of concern to increase efficiency and quality of services.
- Provide organized feedback following clinical site visits.
- Participate in all regularly scheduled clinical team meetings.
- Implement and communicate policies and procedures for various departments.
- Maintain and enforce all safety policy and procedures.
- Develop and promote teamwork.
- Provide additional support for the clinical team, which includes all functions of an LPN and MA.
- Assist physicians with patient office visits.
- Perform administrative tasks.
- Administer and document medication under physician’s orders.
- Field patient telephone calls and respond accordingly.
- Compile and assist providers in responses to triages from team members and patients received by phone or electronic messages.
- Participate in offices “huddle” as assigned.
- Float throughout Western locations as needed.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to individual needs.
- Understanding of clinical risk.
- Experience in a lead role or demonstrated potential to act in a lead capacity.
- Consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals. Must have reliable transportation.
