In this role, you will:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, and small parts, in an outpatient setting.
- Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists.
- Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.
- Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited.
- Assist doctors with outpatient procedures and biopsies.
- Adhere to all radiology policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
We require:
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
- RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- RDCS/Echo experience is a plus.
- Must be able to travel to multiple Suffolk County offices.
What we offer:
Starting Salary: Up to $50 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
