">The Director of Power System Planning will play a critical role in leading our cross-functional team in Operations & Planning, ensuring seamless transition and preparation for managing the NYS power system. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of power system planning and operations.

- Develop and implement strategies for transitioning the NYS power system to a more modern and sustainable infrastructure. ">
- Represent NYISO with external regulatory and industry organizations, as well as other neighboring ISOs and interconnected systems. ">
- Lead cross-functional teams in Operations & Planning, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. ">
Requirements

- Master's degree in electrical and computer engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field. ">
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in power system planning and operations functions, including at least 2 years of experience leading departments, managing teams, and working with SCADA; LEPTON; PowerBI; Tableau; NGX; PSS/E. ">
